Having a moment...

I am having another moment where I want to be really girlie.  It's kind of funny because as a kid, I hated dressing up.  I remember going to dinner at my grandfather's golf club and having to dress up.  I wore a white cotton skirt and a yellow t-shirt (a t-shirt!!!) and talked about how I was "so dressed up."  Having to get dressed for church was a chore because I hated wearing dresses and skirts.  I am not sure when this changed because now I LOVE it.  I love pink and ruffles and flowers and jewelry...I could go on and on..

For now, here are a few things I am dreaming about (not necessarily worn together):

1.  karen headband
2.  pleated fan tank
3.  vintage single brass ginkgo leaf necklace (my favorite of the group!)
4.  nest egg clutch

I hope you're having a great week!

I love your picks!

I have to say that I love that the things you post are not ridiculously expensive. Everything is always reasonable and I really appreciate that. I look at lots of fashion blogs and really, how hard is it to put together a great outfit when the "budget" is $4000. I mean, seriously?

Anyway, thanks for not being crazy. :o)

I love your picks- especially that top. It's funny, I'm feeling the exact same way. In fact, I saw a post with a shimmery top that was a great price and I'm going to buy it today- I'm very excited about this- the little things, right?? :)

Thanks, girls!

Ha ha, Sahar! I can't relate to a $4000 outfit budget, so I don't see myself ever posting things in that price range.

It is funny though, because before I had my son, I did a post on baby furniture...now looking back, the things I picked were ridiculously priced for our current budget!!

Torrie...totally!! The little things make all the difference! :)

oh that's funny. i'm kinda the same way. my mom would always dress me up in skirts, ruffle socks, and bows in my hair... and i was kinda bummed about it, but now i'm thankful!

i work part-time at Anthropologie and that's where most of my girly styling ideas come from!!
