I have a mild obsession with clocks. They fascinate me. Some serve a purely functional purpose: "What time is it?"...""Oh, let me look at that clock on the wall." Some just simply fill an empty space, while others may be a piece of art.
Now that I think about it, I only have two clocks in our house, not including clock radios, and they are for the sole purpose of telling time. Perhaps I should look into adding one of these to our home:

i'm not big into clocks but i have a huge chair and lamp obsession!
however i do want to get some new clocks in my house, you've totally encouraged me to do just that!

The reason most people don't have clocks anymore is that people don't learn how to tell time. (OK, that is just the math teacher in me talking!)
Those clocks are great, though. Beautiful and functional!
