My dad is a pretty traditional guy when it comes to his coffee mugs. He wants a plain mug with a "normal" handle, nothing fancy. Every single time I see a mug with an out of the ordinary handle, I think of my dad and crack up. Here are a few I find to be interesting, but am quite sure he would hate:

I find these mugs to be a little disturbing, but quite wonderful at the same time. Pretty sure, my dad would hate these too.

This had me giggling for a while! I am with your dad on this. I am a big coffee person and everyone always seems to give me mugs for birthdays and Christmas, assuming I must love them, since I love coffee. BUT, I like plain mugs with a plain handle, nothing fancy! I have a whole collection! LOL Kylie

This is so funny. I tried to find the link to share with you, but Ryan brought home 2 ceramic tea mugs from Starbucks (that were given to him during a tasting). The handles were extended from the rim, like a 1/2 bow! Like a soup bowl... totally non-functional! We gave them to my mom, who said she could use them for salsa. Which, I kinda wanted to take 'em back at that point:). (but I didn't!)
I'm sure your Dad would have a good laugh too!:-). I really love the colourful ones! Hope you're off to a great start to the week!

Daddy really laughed about your blog! I like some of the weird ones. My problem is that my fingers go numb from holding some of them...either Carpal Tunnel, arthritis, getting older or a combination! ;--)
