Change of plans...

This is a ridiculous post, but here it goes...I mentioned a while back that I was planning to use the West Elm free printable gift tags that I saw mentioned on How About Orange.  Then I came across this post and thought I wanted to go in a different direction. Finally, I saw these free printable gift tags when I came across this post and decided to stop looking!  :)  Here is what you can download:

I used the same glitter paper I planned to use originally and will still use glossy white paper and some simple metallic, rubber band-esque ribbon.  The colors didn't come out as bright when I printed them, but them I remembered that they are gift tags that get thrown away, so I got over it, grabbed my supplies and made these:

And they match our Christmas cards, so we will be having a color-coordinated holiday.  :)

Sticker Gift Tags!

It is no secret to those who know me that I love wrapping gifts. I truly enjoy finding beautiful gift wrap, ribbon, bows...the more creative, the better.  The one part about wrapping gifts that I dislike, however, is the card!  I hate buying cards.  I love receiving them, but actually picking one out can be such a chore sometimes.  It is so hard to find one that is both beautiful and filled with perfect wording, so I often just bypass a card and opt for a gift tag.  In my last post about giftwrap I visited Whimsy Press.  I recently revisited their site and unless I missed these last time, they have added gift stickers!!  I love them!  I always try to find cool sticker tags for holiday gifts, but for some reason, it never occurred to me to use them for other gifts.  I think I want one of each of these!!
