Eeeeek! Tiny...

(source)
I have come to realize that I am kind of obsessed with miniature things.  I just love tiny things...especially when it comes to food.  I love mini cupcakes, sliders, tiny sandwiches...you get my point.  I have come across some of the most fantastic "new to me" images of miniatures I have ever seen.  I am just in awe!!  I don't think I have the patience to even try to create such a thing...and I am a pretty patient person!  Take a peek and let me know what you think!  Remember...these are miniatures!

All of the miniature interior spaces below (as well as many others) were done by Lene Dragon and can be found here.  I am seriously blown away by her work.  I don't even know what else to say:

All of the following incredible pieces (and many more) were created by Stephanie Kilgast and can be found here.  Once again, I am speechless!  This work is just simply unbelievable:

I mentioned a few days ago how it's funny that certain things can trigger very vivid memories. Well, every single time I see miniature pieces like these, I am reminded of a miniatures exhibit opening I went to as a kid.  My great grandmother was with us and at the reception, took a bite of what she thought was a chocolate truffle.  It was actually a stuffed mushroom!  Ha!...and she hated mushrooms.  She was a very proper lady and politely spit it into a napkin.  [My mom may need to chime in if she is reading this because the details are a little foggy.]

Have a great day!  :)
