Happy Wednesday! Please tell me I am not alone. I don't know what it is about the post office, but I can never seem to manage to get there. I have a gift for a friend that I should have mailed two months ago. It was a baby shower gift. Her baby is now several weeks old. I never mailed my father-in-law's Father's Day card and gift....hmmm...that was back in June, right? My sister and I share a birthday (she is five years older) and I cannot ever manage to get her card and gift to her. What in the hell is wrong with me?? I can't even say that the post office is my problem because these days, you can honestly
do it all from home, so I have decided to blame Facebook. I realize that has nothing to do with it, really....but I do want to get back to actually mailing things.
So for a minute...
I am going to pretend that I am sitting here:
Writing notes to friends on this stationery:
Dropping them in the nearest one of these:
Where they will go on a little journey like this:
And be received like this!:
I am practicing my visualization techniques, in the hopes that I will actually do it!

LOVE this! I struggle with this also! The only thing that saves me is working in an office across from a postal box! Good luck!!
This is so cute! I love the snail... Every time I get mail now I'll think about it and won't get mad at things taking to long to arrive...
I'm also terrible with birthdays and cards... usually I prefer to get an online giftcard for some cool shop... That's actually very ugly of me :(
Have a fun time looking for cards and gifts!
xo
Adorable post, Suzie. That snail is too much! I love the office, the stationary...just love it all, honestly!
...oh, and I love Stevie Wonder.

I am visual like Kristen, so maybe I need to do the same and visualize myself as a better cook! LOL I don't have the problem mailing things, but I do have a problem actually remembering dates. So if I actually remember someone's birthday, they get gifts on time...but I usually forget...sooo..yeah. :o)
OMG!! I adore the snail mail!!! I love him!!
And I am exactly the same way about the post office. Why? I have no idea.
If it weren't for my husband (Mr. Productive), nothing would ever get mailed in this house...
I totally agree with Sharon-
I LOVE sending and receiving snail mail... You'd never know, but my alternate ego is still totally opposed to both FB & Twitter, so in order to keep me from going to the 'dark side' too much, I'm kind of obsessive about going to the post office (if I have something), mailing cards (and other things, like checking out movies/books from the library, etc.)!
